International shipping (outside of South Africa)
We are based in South Africa, and are happy to offer international shipping to most other countries.

With regard to currency conversion: For currency conversion between the South African Rand (R) and US Dollar ($) you can use the following Google link: https://www.google.com/search?q=dollar+rand (you can then also find other conversions, e.g. Euro, Australian Dollar, etc.).
With regard to Taxes: For international orders (that is: orders that we(!) ship to an address outside of South Africa) we will not charge VAT (also called GST in some countries). Your Customs Office will most likely charge you VAT (or GST) upon importation of the goods.
If you are outside of South Africa, and interested in ordering from us, please contact us (via email, or via social media), preferably with the figures you are interested in. We can then obtain quotations to give you an indication of the cost of shipping.
We work with several shipping providers, who offer shipping which will arrive via regular mail, or via courier.

Economy Courier option (UPS Ground – no signature – via TUNL):
- Maximum order value: US$ 800
- Takes 2-3 weeks from our Workshop to your door
- Fully tracked
- Duties and Taxes included (No additional costs for you once you have paid the invoice!)
- Delivered via UPS (no signature needed)
- Upgrade for speed: Can be upgraded to FedEx or UPS Express delivery (takes 1 week; more expensive; tracked; insurance optional; duties and taxes are to be paid by the buyer). See below.
- Please note that we always ship large orders (over R4000) via courier, with insurance!
